Marine Services
BEPS Marine carried out a full hull integrity restoration on a working cargo vessel. Our certified divers and welders combined underwater wet-welding, plate replacement and structural reinforcement to restore the hull to class standard with zero downtime to the vessel’s scheduled operations. Every stage was executed under strict marine safety protocols and verified by an independent classification surveyor.
The project covered hull plate cropping and renewal, underwater welding of cracks below the waterline, sea-chest cleaning and protective coating restoration. Working below the waterline demanded close coordination between our diving team, welding engineers and the vessel’s crew — a coordination BEPS Marine has refined over more than 15 years of marine repair work along the West African coast.

The vessel could not be drydocked within the client’s operating window, so all repairs had to be completed in-water and at anchorage. BEPS Marine mobilised a dive team and welding crew within 24 hours, executed the repair plan around the tide and weather windows, and completed the works ahead of schedule — keeping the vessel commercially active throughout.
